Replace surface and chopping boards that are cracked with a space enough to retain bacteria as there will be hard to clean and will easily pass on bacterial contamination onto the next food product cut, sliced or chopped on it.

Food such as poultry, meat, fish and eggs contain pathogens; there are killed when cooked well otherwise they can cause harmful illness to the body.

Appropriate heat must be applied during cooking for the appropriate amount of time so as to kill any bacteria that might have grown on the food item during the period of storing or preserving it. The food must be covered, stirred so as to make sure the temperature is up to 70 degrees Celsius and above.
